Tim Griffin - President/Chief Pilot - Aircraft Sales
Tim has loved aviation from day one in his life. He grew up on the east coast in North Carolina and moved out to Boise, ID after getting married. Tim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology with Aviation Technology. He has worked as a structural/stress engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace in Georgia. He also has his A&P Mechanic’s Certificate (needed to work on aircraft) and uses his past experience in the engineering, maintenance and flying to lead Jetstream Aviation, Inc. in the right direction.


Adam Steinberg - Assistant Chief Flight Instructor - Flight Instruction Manager
Growing up fascinated with aviation Adam decided to enlist in the Air Force to work on Aircraft. After starting his flight training in 2001 he realized that being a mechanic just wouldn’t cut it. Adam has been with Jetstream Aviation since Jan 1 of 2006 and is looking forward to building with the company. Adam has a bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics from Utah Valley University~he graduated cum laude in the spring of 07’. Ratings earned: CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP and Tail-Wheel.


Dennis “Wood Man” Pearson - Major, USAF (ret) - Flight Instructor
Dennis brings over 23 years of flight experience to Jetstream, that literally spans the globe. This includes 15 years as a combat proven U.S. Air Force fighter pilot in the F-15C. At one point he also instructed in the F-4F during a joint assignment at a U.S./German squadron. Dennis has been an advanced tactics instructor, evaluator and aircraft check-flight pilot. He actually began his military career as an Air Force navigator/instructor navigator in the B-52 where he learned and taught large aircraft operations. Dennis has been trained through the military in Aircraft Safety and Safety Program Management. He graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Computer Science/Math, earned his Master's degree through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and currently holds his CFI, CFII, ATP, Multi Engine, Tail Wheel and Aerobatics ratings.


Jake Mitchell - Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
Jake started flying in 2002 and finished both his Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument rating that same year. As a child anyone who inquired as to what Jake would like to do when he grew up was always told that he was going to be a pilot “because you can push a lot of buttons”. He has worked for SkyWest Airlines and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation – Professional Pilot Emphasis. Working for Jetstream Aviation is a great experience and has allowed him to remain at home in the Boise area with his family.









Drew Gwynn - Flight Instructor
The fascination with aviation started at a young age for Drew. As a little boy, he would fly with his grandfather for business trips held in Wyoming and Colorado. He followed his dream and attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Science with minors in Aviation Weather and Aviation Safety. After earning his CFI certification, he looks forward to the following years with Jetstream Aviation as an instructor where he can advance his knowledge and skill with aviation.


Jake Hays - Flight Instructor
Jake Hays’ grandfather flew crop dusters in rural Idaho in the 40’s. His mother worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines for 30 years, and his uncle commanded a squadron of F-18’s in El Toro, CA. After his uncle exposed him to the first version MS Flight Simulator when he was 10 years old, he became a computer geek. Jake attained his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Boise State University in 2002. After a career change, he finally decided to follow his desire to fly a real airplane, and became a Certified Flight Instructor in October, 2007.
